The sea laps gently against the early morning shore,
And she waits half-patiently, keeping an eye on the orange sky above.
The anxious flutters that both push and pull her in all directions are no more:
Calm has descended on this shoreline and for once, she’s almost serene. Almost still. Almost enough…
